it's my day of birth, and i'm doing homework!

so yeah, it is a small world, huh? since i've been here, i saw like five people that i had classes with in deanza. one dumbass bitch from western civ, two guys from a math class, a girl from an art class (i think) and the cutie from another math class. what are the odds that i seem THEM out of the huge population of UCSD? anyway, classes dont seem to be looking good. one class i should be getting a guaranteed B in... that sounds good and all, but i dont want a B, i stride for the best, damn it. my artwork is suppose to excell if i want an A, but compared to the ppl here, my art is prolly whack. in another class, i'm expected to know HTML (which i dont), so that brings up a problem. haha, you know what's gay? sitting in a crowded shuttle and having a guy's crotch in your face because the bus is over capacitated. well it beats shelving out 5 bills for a parking permit... or does it???

i'm suppose to have an earlier class today, but since it's a studio class, i went to the 5 o'clock class. before class, though i went to ikea to buy some stuff to store my pants. i was gonna go complain to them that my tv stand didn't come with something it was missing, but it was getting late, and i had to be at school. there was like 400 ppl in that class... that's a freaking lot. well i had a "to do" list that was gonna do today, but the only thing i "to did" was like 2/9 things... damn, me living down here is gonna cost a grip. this month alone is gonna be $1079.59 ($759.09 for tuition, $475 for rent, and $237.50 for deposit), and that's not including gas and everything else i bought... i need to get a job... BADLY.

so yesterday (09.23.05) was the first day of school at UCSD! but what a bad day... well not bad, but it wasn't a great day. i had to wake up at 8 when my class started at 10... so i eventually get ready by 9 or and head off to school. on my way there i get lost because of google maps... that thing has made me take the wrong roads a couple of times now... i planned on getting to UTC by 9, but i got there at 9:39 or so. UTC is the mall near UCSD, and from there i take a shuttle that takes me school. oh yeah, one thing i didn't mention was that i had a bad case of the runs on the way to school so i was gonna explode! haha... so yeah, it died down when i was on the shuttle ride, but then i realized that i had left my schedule in the car, so i didn't know what classroom to go to or what class i was supposed to go to. so after wandering around aimlessly, i eventually found out that my class wasn't gonna happen today because it was a discussion class and lecture classes happen first. so i basically ran around the huge campus for nothing. well, one thing that happened that made it all worth while was that i saw the girl i sat next to in math class at deanza. i was walking around at there she fucking was. it's pretty crazy cause i always thought she was hot (and i happened to sit next to her every class). i didn't talk to her cause i was all sweaty from walking around, but she will be stalked... hahaha... jk... (jk)... so i just went to grab something to eat after and went back to my place. i chilled at home until 4 for my next class. the visual arts class was pretty cool, too bad it gets out at 8. after class i headed on to my bro's place, but no one was home, so i just raided his fridge and stole some stuff that i could take home and eat. oh yeah, while driving there, there was this cloud like thing in the air and it was making swirly things, it was cool. tuned out it was some rocket thing that sent a satellite in to orbit or something. so i thought my night would be over, but shih calls me and tells me he needed a ride. he was at the VONS (the socal version of albertsons) near UCSD. so i made three separate trips to school that day... good thing it aint THAT far from my place. so i just chilled at james' place at played top spin with his roomies... FINALLY some competition in that game.

today: NOTHING... yet. [EDIT] i chilled with james and his gf at their friends place; just chilled... played some cards... "egyptian rat screw" was the name of the game? also played some game called "mafia" or something... pretty cool.

so today was my first official day LIVING in sd, i guess. i thought about writing in my xanga again, but i remembered this place had journal entries, so i just went here instead. so yesterday i drove all the way from milpitas to san diego... took me like a little under seven hours? not bad. listened to late registration, college dropout, hotel paper, welcome interstate managers, make believe, and meteora. i move into the place last night and stayed up all night putting the computer table together... damn thing... today i woke up and unpacked everything, went to drive around school to get to know the area, then ikea to buy some stuff. now i have to sleep for school tomorrow.
